So people are starting to say – their website is out of date, they do not update is any more, they don’t care ……. NO, NO, NO – not true, life has just been absolutely manic and loads has been going on. So let us start by apologising to everybody that has dropped by to find no change.
From going to watch South Africa play England in a polo test match, to Sarah’s weekly extramural activity regime that would make any timetable scheduler be proud – everybody has just been really busy. So right now the task at hand is to start catching up on what has been happening – and this is the first update – check back over the weekend for some more.

As every South African believed – the Springboks are the world champions. And it was summed up by Andy Bull on the Guardian Unlimited Sports Blog: “We wozn’t robbed! England were valiant, but South Africa were deservedly crowned world champions after one of sport’s great tournaments.“
Congratulations to the whole Springbok squad! For great video of the reactions of the South Africans to the victory – go here, it is worth the diversion!
John Smit and all the team did us all proud – and Eddie Jones deserves to wear a Springbok blazer when they land in SA! Shame on the SA politicians in the hierarchy if they do not recognise that it was a team effort, and he was one of the people that helped the boks to victory! Eddie Jones – thank you from all of us!
Finally, the whole country owes Jake White a huge vote of thanks and support! No matter how badly he has been treated by the SA rugby administrators, he still kept his focus on the job at hand. Maybe some of the politicians in SA should take note – deliver results before you open your feeble mouths in order to grab the limelight. True giants demonstrate commitment to delivery of results, and then deliver, something that you still need to learn.
To crown the weekend – all we need now is for Lewis Hamilton to win the title tomorrow!
